Creator guide
The rules of the road
A quick read covering the standards every approved Poyela creator agrees to.
1. Exclusive Content Declaration
By uploading a video to Poyela, you confirm and warrant that the content has not been published, uploaded, distributed, licensed, or made available on any other platform, website, social media channel, application, or media outlet. You further agree that you will not upload, publish, distribute, license, sell, or otherwise make the content available anywhere else in the future unless you have received prior written authorization from Poyela. Any breach of this exclusivity requirement may result in immediate removal of the content, suspension or termination of your creator account, forfeiture of unpaid earnings related to the content, and may lead to legal action to recover damages and enforce Poyela’s rights.
2. Original content only
Every submission must be filmed by you. AI-generated footage, recycled clips, or stock libraries will be rejected and may trigger a warning.
3. Follow the brief
Stick to the length, format, and key talking points in the brief. If something's unclear, message the brand before filming.
4. Delivery windows
Most projects have a 72-hour delivery window. Late submissions affect your on-time rate, which feeds your reliability score.
5. Reviews & approvals
Brands have 48 hours to approve. If they request a revision, you get one free re-edit before the brief can be reassigned.
6. Payouts
Approved earnings will be paid out once your balance reaches a minimum threshold of $20. Payments are then processed 7 days after the threshold is reached, and are issued in your local currency on a weekly cycle.
7. Reliability rating
Your rating combines projects completed, on-time delivery, approval rate, and warnings. Higher ratings unlock premium briefs first.
8. Project deadlines & accountability
- By accepting a project, you agree to complete and submit it within the allocated timeframe.
- Once a project is accepted, a countdown timer will immediately begin.
- The standard completion period is 5 days from the moment of acceptance.
- If the project itself has less than 5 days remaining before expiry, the shorter deadline will apply.
- A live countdown showing days, hours, minutes, and seconds will be displayed on your dashboard.
- Administrators may extend or shorten deadlines when necessary.
- If a project is not submitted within 7 days of acceptance, it will automatically return to the available project pool and may be claimed by another creator.
- Creators who miss the deadline will not be permitted to reclaim the same project.
- Missing a deadline results in a strike on your account.
- Three late-project strikes may result in account suspension and loss of access to new projects.
- Repeated late submissions may affect your standing and future opportunities on the platform.
- Please only accept projects that you are confident you can complete on time.
